Allaben Pond Restaurant Building
Gaziantep / Turkey, 2014
The building is designed within the scope of the Urban Design Project of the Allaben Pond and Surrounding Areas. It is aimed that the structure is perceived from the road as embedded in the land as well as ensuring that the main facade faces the existing pond. In the building where architectural concrete is used predominantly for both exterior and interior, the entrance axis divides the main hall into two parts. In this way, it is achieved to constitute two (2) separate restaurants (with different service opportunities), one for hosting such activities as wedding and the other for normal usage.
The building is awarded in realized category in World Architecture Community Awards 18th cycle.
