Karaköy Novotel
Istanbul / Turkey, 2014

Draws attention to the 2 basic approaches in planning of the hotel, and internal street and courtyard. Stating that the street created in Novotel designed in the plot with contiguous building connect Rıhtım Road and Galata Mumhane, and this connection is a gift given to citizens, in a way, and can also be considered as a factor enhancing the commercial functions of the hotel on the ground floor, and that the interior courtyard that was created on the ground floor was solved by a green roof system so that the impact of urban heat islands can be reduced, R.Güneş Gökçek said that they were trying to interpret the facade language with a new and contemporary language while maintaining the full-empty rates in the region.
