VIP Otel, Halkalı, Istanbul

 

Halkalı’da Fatih caddesi üzerinde yer alan yapı düz bir topoğrafyaya oturuyor. Kütle kurgusu odaların yer aldığı ve genel alanların olduğu blok olmak üzere iki blok halinde kurgulandı. Böylece tek katlı genel blok ile hemen önündeki caddeye hakim cephe verilirken, yüksek katlı oda bloğu ile TEM-E5 bağlantı yolundan hakim cephe alması sağlandı. Yapının geometrisi, otel programında yer alan çok çeşitli ve farklı uzunluktaki oda tiplerinin dağılımına imkan tanıyacak şekilde oluşturuldu. Bu durum aynı zamanda tek bir masif kütlenin yontulmasıyla oluşturulmuş monoblok bir etki ve güçlü bir arkitektonik yaratmayı sağladı.

The building on the Fatih Street in Halkalı District is located on a flat topography. It is designed as two blocks, one with the rooms and the other with the common areas. In this way, the one-story block for common use is allowed to have a view of the street in the front, while the facade of the high-story block incorporating the rooms faces the connection road between TEM highway and E5 motorway. The geometrical shape of the building is designed in a way to allow for accommodating rooms of various types and different lengths. This also creates a mono block effect and a strong architectonic sense from a single massive block..
